On October 25, 2024, a special event was organized by KnowDis AI at IIT Delhi to honour Professor M. Balakrishnan with the KnowDis Award for Excellence. The award celebrated Professor Balakrishnan’s outstanding contributions to the field of computer science and engineering. The gathering included esteemed faculty members from the CS&E Department, alumni, and industry professionals. The ceremony commenced with a heartfelt rendition of Ganesh Vandana by Ishaan, Mr Singal’s son, creating a respectful and inspiring atmosphere for the day’s celebrations. The event concluded with a delightful lunch at Gulmohar, IIT Delhi’s guesthouse, where members of the CSE Department and the KnowDis team engaged in enriching discussions.
